On the day where New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman refused to commit to him being the team’s starting quarterback, Eli Manning hinted at possibly retiring in his weekly interview on WFAN Sports Radio 66AM and 101.9 FM.
WFAN radio host Mike Francesa asked Manning out-right if he will be playing quarterback in 2019 and Eli’s response was not definitive:
Is it fair to say that we haven’t seen the last of Eli Manning as a quarterback?
Eli on @WFAN660: “We will see.”
Eli says he isn’t leaning one way or the other right now. Not definitive in any way regarding what comes next.#NYGiants

Eli was also asked if he could see himself playing in another uniform, should the Giants part ways:
Eli Manning says “it’s hard to imagine” playing in another uniform if #Giants decided to move on.

Whether or not the 38-year old retires or not, it seems as though the Giants have begun the process of searching for Eli Manning’s successor.
