The Seattle Seahawks’ season ended Saturday night and tragically, so did the season of Allen Hurns.
The Cowboys WR suffered a gruesome injury during the first quarter where he had his leg rolled over by a Seahawks defender, causing his ankle bone to snap and protrude from his leg.

After being carefully carted off the field and rushed to the hospital, a source has indicated that Hurns has gone into emergency surgery to repair his leg, which has been officially diagnosed as a dislocated ankle with multiple fractures.
Cowboys WR Allen Hurns should be in surgery about now, per Jerry Jones. Dislocated ankle and fractured knee in gruesome hit vs. Seahawks. Thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽

CORRECTION: Jerry said Hurns has “a dislocated ankle as well as fractures” and was headed to surgery. Believe, after relistening to audio, I misheard knee in loud scrum. Apologies for error.

As if the injury wasn’t enough unfortunate news by itself, Hurns has one year remaining on his contract, which is non-guaranteed.
