Mike McCarthy Taking Next Season Off After Not Being Able To Get Coaching Job

With Mike McCarthy having been left go by the Packers, many predicted he would easily land on his feet with another team escpially with the multitude of head coaching job openings around the league.

Well, with weeks surpassed and almost all of those jobs filled, the former Green Bay coach seems to be all out of options.

According to ProFootballTalk, McCarthy was all in on the New York Jets job. Only problem? The Jets weren’t all in on him. It was announced Wednesday that the team had hired  Adam Gase, formerly of the Miami Dolphins to be their next head coach.

With his preferred job filled, McCarthy will reportedly sit out the 2019 season and focus on getting a job come 2020.

PFT noted that with one place McCarthy could land when that time comes in Seattle, especially with Pete Carroll not getting any younger and G.M. John Schneider and McCarthy believed to be close friends.

  1. My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a variety of websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!|

  2. Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve visited this website before but after going through a few of the articles I realized it’s new to me. Regardless, I’m definitely happy I discovered it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking back regularly!
