Rams CB Nickell Robey-Coleman Says Saints Fans Sent Death Threats After NFC Champ. Game

Outside of the officiation crew during the 2019 NFC Championship Game, Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman is probably the most marked man in Louisiana.

As the Los Angeles Rams cornerback gets set to play in the biggest game of his career, he sat down for an exclusive interview with Bleacher Report to talk about a number of things that included the reaction he received following the no-call the helped the Rams win the game.

One of the more terrible things that happened to Robey-Coleman was the number of death threats he received from Saints fans following the game:

Amid the beautiful chaos, the 27-year-old slot cornerback decided mid-flight to turn on his Wi-Fi, and…hello.

Notifications tripped over themselves by the dozens. Facebook. Instagram. Twitter. All of his accounts were blowing up with messages on a continuous loop and, no, they were not all congratulatory. There was a Saints fan promising to burn his house down. Another vowing to “f–k you up” at the airport. Another telling him he better leave the city ASAP or he “might not see tomorrow.” There were countless death threats from what he presumed to be fake names.

Just out if curiosity to those Saints fans, was it Robey-Coleman’s fault the referees didn’t throw a flag?
