Sam Adams, a Boston-are Beer company has created a limited edition beer called “Too Old, Too Slow, Still Here” which comes in a goat-themed can and will be distributed to a total of 199 people.
The farmhouse double New England IPA will go on sale at an event on Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 PM according to CBS Boston at the Boston Brewery and Tap Room.
Sam Adams founder Jim Koch released this statement:
“We’re behind New England Patriots 100 percent as they head to the big game, the best way we could think to honor the team was to brew a beer for fans that can’t make it to Atlanta and a New England style Double IPA with as much spirit as the players felt like the perfect beer. We haven’t doubted them all season and can’t wait to watch them on Sunday with a beer in hand that honors their hard work.”
Tom Brady, along with the Patriots organization have embraced the underdog role as they head into the franchise’s 9th Super Bowl since 2001 on Sunday vs the Los Angeles Rams, a role that many outside of the New England area find incredibly egregious.
