New Orleans Saints fans across the country were so angry over the blown call in the NFC Championship Game that cost their team a shot at the Super Bowl, they decided to not watch the game all together.
While much of New Orleans spent Super Bowl Sunday partying on the Bourbon street during the game, 65-year-old Henry A. Jaume took to extreme lengths to avoid the big game.
He died hours before kick off.
His obituary, which was published in the New Orleans Advocate states that Jaume died on Sunday at 1:00PM, “determined not to watch Super Bowl LIII”:

The cause of death of the Army veteran and police officer is not noted in his obituary. He is described as having been charismatic with a “great sense of humor and quick wit” and a fan of crawfish boils and “going to the Saints game.”
