All last offseason, there were a ton of trade speculation surrounding New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Many players around the league were recruiting Beckham, who at the time seemed to be on rocky grounds with the organization after a video surfaced of him in a hotel with what looked like an illegal substance.
Instead, the Giants hung onto him, Beckham and the organization got on the same page and the two agreed on a long term contract extension.
According to Chris Simms, there Giants did come close to trading Beckham to a team that wasn’t mentioned during last offseason’s discussing, which mostly been centered around the Los Angeles Rams an Cleveland Browns. S
