Demarcus Lawrence Is Extremely Happy The Giants Are Bringing Back Eli Manning

Demarcus Lawrence is a huge Eli Manning fan but not for reasons you’d imagine.

The Dallas Cowboys star defensive end is celebrating his lucrative contract extension that was awarded to him this offseason by thanking those who helped him along the way.

.. And apparently, Eli Manning is one of those people:

Lawrence has 34 career sacks and has sacked Eli Manning 3.5 times. In a comment on ESPN’s NFL Instagram, Lawrence chimed in to make it clear he’s very happy the Giants are keeping Manning around as their quarterback:

Despite still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, Lawrence is expected to be ready for the start of the season which ironically will be against Eli Manning and the Giants on September 8th.
