Ezekiel Elliott Offers To Pay For Funeral Of Teenage Football Star That Was Killed

Last week, the tragic news came down that Mason-Clark Middle School football player Jaylon McKenzie was shot and killed by a stray bullet at a party.

The 13-year old football phenom was walking outside of the party after a fight broke out when he was hit by a stray bullet, according to his mourning mother, Sukeena Gunner.

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott offered his condolences to McKenzie’s family and has offered to pay for all funeral costs.

At age 13, Jaylon was featured in Sports Illustrated as one of the “six teens who will rule the future in sports.”

The 14-year-old was said to already being offered college scholarships from University of Missouri and University of Illinois.

Funeral arrangements are still being finalized.
