Giants HC Pat Shurmur Refused To Name Eli Manning The Teams’ Starting QB For Week 3

The quarterback controversy in New York is heating up.

Giants coach Pat Shurmur met with reporters on Monday and was noncommittal about Eli Manning being the team’s starting quarterback in Week 3 when the team travels to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers.

A final decision is expected by Wednesday.

“He’s been our starter to this point. I’m not ready to talk about that.” – Pat Shurmur on whether Eli is his starter.

Manning has started both Giants losses this season. He has thrown two touchdown passes and has three turnovers while failing to help produce more than 20 points in either game.
