Jalen Ramsey is doing everything he can to get himself out of Jacksonville including conducting a controversial interview where he rips the organization.
The Jags cornerback went on the 17 weeks podcast, hosted by Uninterrupted, and laid out all of the reasons he requested a trade from Jacksonville.
“I want to be in a place where they know I am the best corner in the game and let me play and help the team get wins.”
“Most of us were like ‘No, we want to tie it up, we want to put it on the defense. We were feeling confident, and we felt like we had the momentum. We wanted them to really trust us.”
“Requesting the trade was something that has kind of been building over a little bit of time. It has nothing to do with my teammates here. It has nothing to do with the city.”
“It was more so with the front office and the organization.” Jalen says it outright.”
“I called my agent after the game.”
“Some disrespectful things were said on (Jacksonville’s) end that made me definitely walk out and call my agent as soon as I walked out.”
“I said ‘It is time. My time is up here in Jacksonville. I want to ask for a trade.’”
“I still stand by my decision to ask for the trade.”
Ramsey suited up for the team in their Thursday Night Football game against the Tennessee Titans.
A trade is expected by Friday.
