After an unsuccessful holdout through three weeks, Melvin Gordon will rejoin the Chargers.
The running back announced he would be holding out for a new contract prior to training camp, even later asking to be traded, only to have his wishes see no fruition.
Sources: The holdout is ending. #Chargers RB Melvin Gordon is, in fact, reporting to the team tomorrow. He won’t play this week, but he is planning to be back in the fold with his teammates.

Due to missed practices and games, Gordon has been fined in the millions by the team, money he won’t be earning back with a new, richer contract.
Los Angeles went 1-2 in his absence.
Gordon isn’t expected to see the field until Week 5 when the Chargers take on the Steelers in primetime.
