On Monday, Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict was suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season after the dirty hit he laid on Colts TE Jack Doyle.
It was the longest suspension for on-field conduct the league has ever handed down and it had everyone talking about.
Including OJ Simpson.
Simpson spoke on Burfict’s suspension, saying a hit like that would’ve been celebrated in his day. However, OJ did acknowledge that things have changed and Burfict’s suspension is warranted.
