Clay Matthews must have banged the NFL’s head of officiating’s wife or something.
The former Packer was hit with a slew of more than questionable roughing the passer penalties last season, and it seems like this season is no different.
Late in Thursday night’s Seahawks-Rams game, Russell Wilson was flushed to his right where he was met by Matthews, who legally hit him with his shoulder seemingly simultaneously to Wilson releasing the ball.

The Seahawks, aided by the penalty, scored the go-ahead touchdown shortly after in the same drive.
