The NFL Fined Rams’ Clay Matthews For Telling The Truth

The truth really hurts the NFL.

On Monday, the NFL officiating once again decided the outcome of a game when the Detroit Lions were flagged twice for an illegal hands to the face penalty. On both plays, illegal hands to the face did not occur.

Following the game, Clay Matthews (who’s use to getting screwed over by the referees) told the cold hard truth about the reality the NFL faces:

Meanwhile, the officiating crew that cost the Lions the game were not fined, fired or demoted.

They will actually be calling another game on Sunday.
