The New York Jets are pissed.
Not only did the they get embarrassed 33-0 against the New England Patriots at home, but they had to deal with the aftermath of a comment made by Sam Darnold while mic’d up during the game.
Darnold struggled all night, completing 11 of his 32 pass attempts for 86 yards and four interceptions and was caught admitting that he was “seeing ghosts” while mic’d up.
On Tuesday, Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News reported that head coach Adam Gase was “not happy” that Darnold’s comment was aired.

Gase wasn’t the only one unhappy with the league and ESPN for airing the comment. Jets RB Le’Veon Bell thought the world-wide leader did Sam Darnold, “dirty.”
