Quincy Enunwa Rips The Jets Over Absurd Fines; Admits There’s A 50/50 Chance He Might Not Be Able To Play Football Again

Quincy Enunwa has been on injured reserve all season in what has been a touch season for the New York Jets wide receiver.

Unfortunately for Enunwa, the tough year just got tougher.

Enunwa was fined $27,900 for missing treatment and that didn’t sit well with him and turned to Twitter to rip the franchise over it:

The big takeaway here is that Enunwa, who’s on IR with a neck injury has been told by doctors that he only has a 50/50 chance of playing football again.

This is also not the first time the Jets have had drama with injured players. Earlier in the season, the Jets went back and forth with offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele over whether or not he needed shoulder surgery. Osmele eventually opted for surgery and the Jets released him. Then quarterback Luke Falk filed an injury grievance against the team, several weeks after getting cut.

Now Enunwa – one of the longest-tenured players in the building – is fuming mad about how he’s being treated, too.
