Many wondered how severe the punishment would be for Browns DE Myles Garrett after ripping Steelers QB Mason Rudolph’s helmet off during a brawl Thursday night, violently striking Rudolph in the head with it.
The answer?
The remainder of this season (playoffs as well if Cleveland reaches the postseason) and perhaps some of next season.
Browns’ DE Myles Garrett suspended indefinitely, with a minimum of at least this regular season and playoffs.

Browns’ Larry Ogunjobi has also been suspended one game without pay and Steelers’ Maurkice Pouncey will be ineligible for three for their roles in the skirmish as well.
The NFL released this statement on social media Friday.
Steelers, Browns organizations each fined $250,000.
