After three years away from the NFL, Colin Kaepernick is back on a football field showcasing what he has to offer for NFL scouts.
After kneeling during the National Anthem in 2017 in the name of bringing awareness to police brutality and racial injustice in the United States, Kaepernick has been without a team since.
With the help of Jay-Z, consultant to the NFL, the league has organized a workout for Kaepernick with all 32 teams invited.
Representatives from 25 of those teams traveled to Atlanta for the workout Saturday, which was at the last minute moved by Kaepernick and his team from the Falcons training facility to an off-site location after the league wouldn’t allow media members to be present, citing the need for full transparency.
