The only person associated with the Carolina Panthers that was in attendance during Colin Kaepernick’s workout on Saturday was safety Eric Reid, who’s Kaepernick’s close friend.

According to Joe Person of The Athletic, Reid drove to Atlanta for the workout and was back before the Panthers team meetings last night.

Following the four interception performance from Kyle Allen, Reid also stated that the Panthers could use Colin Kaepernick:

“I think we could use Colin’s help,” Reid said. “I think every team in the league could use Colin’s help. I would definitely be excited if he were here.”

Reid says despite the Panthers not attending Kaepernick’s workout, they will request tape of the workout but the team is not interested in bringing in a veteran quarterback despite Allen’s struggles and Newton’s season-ending injury.
