The New York Jets dominated the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, sacking Derek Carr seven times en-route to a 34-3 win.
But after the game, the Jets were apparently not done beating up on a Carr as Jamal Adams got into a heated exchange with Derek Carr’s brother, Darren on Twitter.
It all started with Adams’ postgame tweet. Adams tweeted a photo of himself sacking Carr without taking an actual shot at the Raiders quarterback.
That didn’t sit well with Darren, who jumped into Adams’ mentions and responded:
The Jets safety took notice to the response and responded, which lead to an intense back-and-fourth:
Adams proceeded to call out Darren for living through his brother’s fame, mocking mocking his role as a high school coach:
When Darren tried to clap back at Adams’ with having a “lack of respect” for his opponents, Adams quickly pointed out Darren’s grammatical error:
Did Adams go too far?
