Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor underwent emergency surgery after he was reportedly stabbed in the chest and shoulder in the early hours of Saturday.
Police have now released the name of the women allegedly involved in the altercation.
According to Amy udak of WPXI, Pittsburgh police is charging Shalaya Briston (age 24) with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. They are also charing Pryor with simple assault:
Pryor was reportedly in critical condition early this morning, but a recent report now claims that he is in stable condition.
Pryor quarterbacked Ohio State before being taken by the Oakland Raiders in the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft. He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this year but was released in August after being placed on the IR.
