Following the Dallas Cowboys 31-24 loss on Thursday Night Football to the Chicago Bears, much of the talk was surrounding Jason Garrett and his job status.
While Jerry Jones said the team is not making a coaching change, that doesn’t mean the team isn’t already looking ahead at the inevitable coaching search.
According to Jane Slater of NFL Network, not only have the Cowboys began the search for their next head coach, they’ve already had a conversation with a candidate:
Meyer, who is a 3-time National Champion winning coach, stepped down from the Buckeyes at the end of last season because of health reasons.
The 54-year-old posted a 77-9 overall record.
