Orlando Scandrick, the former Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback on The Herd with Colin Cowherd and talked about various topics around the NFL.
One of the discussions were surrounding the latest controversy involving the New England Patriots and Scandrick dropped an interesting tidbit about what the Patriots allegedly did and still possibly do to this day.
Scandrick claims the Patriots sent an employee of the team to the visiting team’s hotel to look for anything that was left behind by players, coaches or anybody connected to the opposing team that could give the Patriots a competitive advantage.
That claim sounds similar to what Pats’ employee stated during the SpyGate article that was released by Outside The Lines:

In fact, many former New England coaches and employees insist that the taping of signals wasn’t even the most effective cheating method the Patriots deployed in that era.
Several of them acknowledge that during pregame warm-ups, a low-level Patriots employee would sneak into the visiting locker room and steal the play sheet, listing the first 20 or so scripted calls for the opposing team’s offense. (The practice became so notorious that some coaches put out fake play sheets for the Patriots to swipe.)
Earlier this week a Patriots’ employee had footage confiscated because he allegedly illegally recorded the Bengals sidelines during their game against the Cleveland Browns.
