The Chiefs sent their fans on a rollercoaster ride of emotions Sunday with a 24-0 deficit to start the game, only to score 41 unanswered points and go on to destroy the Texans.
Fans in Kansas City may have this guy to thank.
Athletes are typically superstitious, and ironically, the fans, who have nothing to do with the actually action on the field tend to be ever more so.
After the Chiefs found themselves in a 24-point hole with their season on the line, a Kansas City fan who believed he was bad luck actually took it upon himself to leave Arrowhead Stadium, citing it was “Our only hope.”
“Can’t do it. Gotta leave man. It’s our only hope.”

The Chiefs then went on to score 41 unanswered points and the rest is history.
