Rumors of Tom Brady possibly joining the Las Vegas Raiders just picked up some serious heat as the team is interested in pursuing the 42-year old quarterback in free agency.
If the Patriots and Tom Brady do not come to terms on a deal ahead of March 18th, Adam Schefter is reporting that the Las Vegas Raiders will go after Brady and have full support of head coach Jon Gruden:
Per the report:
“One of the teams expected to be leading the way if Brady gets to free agency is the Raiders, whose coach, Jon Gruden, is a long-time admirer of the three-time MVP and six-time Super Bowl champion,” Schefter reported. “The two have a good relationship, and league sources believe that Gruden, who is known to be a highly effective recruiter, wants Brady on the Raiders.”
Las Vegas has been linked to Brady a ton in recent weeks, especially after Brady was spotted talking to owner Mark Davis at UFC 246.
If the Raiders want to sell themselves on the Las Vegas crowd, adding the greatest quarterback in NFL history would help that greatly.
