If you thought the Myles Garrett-Mason Rudolph saga was over, think again.
Earlier this month, the NFL announced that it was reinstating Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett from his indefinite suspension for striking Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph with a helmet.
Following his reinstatement, Garrett did an interview with ESPN, where he doubled down his claim of Rudolph calling him a racial slur prior to Garrett swinging a helmet at him.
In response to Garrett’s latest claim, the attorney of Mason Rudolph released this statement, threatening Garrett with legal action for his “defamatory” remark:
Mason Rudolph also responded to the accusation on Twitter, saying it was a “bold-faced lie” and “1000% false.”
This saga is far from over!
