REPORT: NBC To Replace Cris Collinsworth With Drew Brees In Booth After Brees Retires

NBC’s Sunday Night Football will see a changing of the guards in the coming years, with the New York Post announcing the network’s plans on Friday, along with Saints QB Drew Bree’s decision to sign with NBC once he retires from football.

According to the report, the network already has a succession plan to replace Cris Collinsworth with Brees and his SNF partner, Al Michaels with Mike Tirico after the 2022 Super Bowl.

When Brees retires from the Saints, he is expected to start as a game analyst on Notre Dame football and as a studio analyst for “Football Night in America.”
