Two weeks ago, the Houston Texans decided to trade one of the faces of their franchise for a bag of chips and free Netflix subscription to the Cardinals.
Before finally being rewarded with a legitimate quarterback in Deshaun Watson in Houston, DeAndre Hopkins suffered through quarterbacks like Matt Schaub, Ryan Mallet, Tom Savage, and of course, the $72 million dollar man, Brock Osweiler.
Osweiler would only spend one season in Houston, throwing for 2,957 yards, 15 touchdowns and 16 interceptions before being traded to the Browns.
Despite having Osweiler under center, Hopkins still put up a productive season, intercepting 78 of Brock’s passes intended for the defense for 954 yards and four scores.
Now in Arizona, Hopkins was on Instagram Live Saturday and took a shot at his former quarterback when talking about his stats for the upcoming season, saying, “If I could do it with Brock Osweiler, I think I could do it with anyone.”
