The motto of the Dolphins fanbase last season was “Tank for Tua”, but with the draft just one day away, fans in Miami may not get their wish.
According to league sources, the ‘Phins have made calls ahead of Thursday’s draft looking to trade up into the No. 3 spot in order to draft not Tua, but rather an offensive tackle.
Sources: The #Dolphins have called the teams in front of them for a possible trade up from No. 5 and are gauging the price to come up to No. 3 to potentially take an offensive tackle. We could see a run on tackles in the Top 10 like never before.

The Dolphins want to get ahead of the Giants, not for Tua, but for the best tackle. That’s real.

The Dolphins traded away their promising tackle this offseason in Laremy Tunsil for a 1st round pick…which may be used in order to select another…tackle. Interesting strategy by Miami to say the least.
