At least! News about the scheduling of a sporting event that doesn’t include it getting cancelled!
Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will all be taking part in an unprecedented 2-on-2 golf match, which now has a date of next month.
According to the Action Network’s Darren Rovell, the match is rumored to occur May 15 or May 24, and will serve as a charity fundraiser to benefit victims of COVID-19.
Though there’s no final answer on the decided matchup just yet, Woods will likely play with Brady while Mickelson will play with Manning.
While we do know that it will be televised on TNT, we do not know what course the match will be played at.
Tiger and Phil faced off in a charity match last year, with Mickelson claiming the winner-take-all prize money of $9 million.
