New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees appeared on Yahoo’s On The Move on Wednesday, and of course was asked about how the events currently occurring in our country will carry over in the NFL season in the wake of George Floyd’s tragic murder at the hands of police.
Colin Kaepernick, who emerged as the link between police brutality and football, began peacefully protesting back in 2016 by kneeling for the National Anthem.
Brees noted that he still does not agree with kneeling during the song and disrespecting the flag.
