
David Njoku will be on a new team come training camp if he has it his way.
The Browns tight end and his agent Drew Rosenhaus asked the team for a trade Friday.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cleveland responded saying they’d like to keep Njoku, but the pair were insistent on a trade, with Rosenhaus saying “It is in David’s best interest to find a new team at this time.”

Njoku was drafted by the Browns out of Miami in 2017, having a productive start to his career despite a down year in 2019.
