Denzel Mims clearly isn’t a fan of the city of Philadelphia.
When asked about his pre-draft visit with the Eagles, the former Baylor wide receiver, who was drafted by the New York Jets described the city of Brotherly Love as a “dirty ass, trash ass city.”
Mims, who is from Daingerfield, Texas, spoke more about the visit during an interview with Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher of the “Inside the Birds” podcast in April.
“I was very scared. I wasn’t familiar with the whole city and it was a lot going on, you see a lot of people that look scary … I had a bad experience, you could say, going up there that first time.”
The Jets are scheduled to face the Eagles in Week 4 of the preseason.
