Drew Brees was the first NFL player in 2020 to be crucified on social media for his comments regarding race in America, but he wasn’t the last.
Eagles star wide receiver DeSean Jackson posted what was largely taken as anti-Semitic messages on social media Monday, highlighting a quote from none other than Adolf Hitler.
DeSean Jackson, posts a quote from Hitler, says he’s not anti-Semitic and then highlights the particularly anti-Semitic part.
As an Eagles fan, this is disgusting. Where is the response from the team and the NFL? pic.twitter.com/MFPmz0PyOY

The Instagram story featured a quote attributed to Hitler that said “[white Jews] will blackmail America and [they] will extort America, but their plan for world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were.”
DeSean reacted to the backlash soon after, stating that he doesn’t hate Jewish people.
“Anyone who feels I have hate towards the Jewish community took my post the wrong way,” Jackson wrote. “I have no hatred in my heart towards no one!! Equality equality.”
The Eagles released the following statement regarding the matter:
