Jamal Adams made headlines earlier this offseason when it was announced that he’d asked the Jets to trade him following stagnant contract negotiations and displeasure with the organization in other areas.
His wish has now been granted.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets star safety has been dealt to the Seattle Seahawks. While the Jets lose arguably their best player, they do get quite the haul in return.
Trade:

The deal comes just one day after Adams went public in calling out head coach Adam Gase, saying he’s “not the right leader for the team.”
