Five New England Patriots Players Have Opted Out Of 2020 Season Due To COVID-19

If there’s going to be a 2020 NFL season, the Patriots are going to be without some key players.

On Tuesday, Pro Bowl linebacker and defensive caption Dont’a Hightower opted out of the 2020 season after having a baby two weeks ago. He becomes the fifth Patriots’ player so far to opt out:
