Washington Football Team Head Coach Ron Rivera Diagnosed With Cancer

2020 just keeps getting worse.

New coach of the Washington Football Team Ron Rivera has been diagnosed with cancer.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who broke the news, the 58-year-old has consulted with a number of doctors and specialists and is establishing a treatment plan with the team and an outside specialist. Schefter added that, for now, it’s business as usual for Washington but a “Plan B” is in place.

Rivera was hired as coach in Washington after a long tenure in Charlotte with the Panthers.
