Cowboys Leading Contenders To Land Former Ravens Safety Earl Thomas

Adam Schefter broke the news that the Baltimore Ravens would be parting ways with star safety Earl Thomas after Thomas was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team following an altercation where he punched teammate Chuck Clark.

The team will either cut Thomas or trade him if they can find a suitor, and though it seems like the Cowboys are big players in every player that hits the market or trade block, Thomas to the Cowboys feels like a legitimate possibility.

While on the Seahawks, Thomas infamously snuck into the Cowboys tunnel to find Jason Garrett and told the Cowboys coach to trade for him, saying “Come get me.”

Of course Garrett is no longer the coach in Dallas but it’s likely Jason Garrett wasn’t the sole reason Thomas wanted to play for the Cowboys.
