Some NFL teams are joining in in postponing their duties in order to fill one they see more important.
The NBA started a chain of events that would ripple across sports Wednesday night when the Milwaukee Bucks opted to boycott their Game 5 playoff game against the Orlando Magic in protest regarding the shooting of Jacob Blake at the hands of police.
The Magic themselves soon followed, along with every other NBA team. Not too long after, MLB, WNBA, MLS teams and even #1 female tennis player in the world Naomi Osaka all opted out of their events as well.
Wednesday morning a handful of NFL teams decided to cancel practice in order to meet and discuss social reform within their communities and how they can make an impact.
Numerous other teams eventually joined in.
