On the first weekend of the college football season, we’ve got an early candidate for Catch of the Year.
Late in the first half of SMU and Texas State’s game, Bobcats wide receiver Jeremiah Haydel made a ridiclous one-handed grab in the end zone to tie the game with under a minute to play in the second quarter.
Unfortunately, that catch didn’t help as the SMU Mustangs would go on to win the game 31-24.
