The Houston Texans dismissed head coach and general manager Bill O’Brien on Monday and while much of that had to do with O’Brien’s horrible decisions in building the roster, an altercation with the team’s best defensive player, J.J. Watt might have been the breaking point for Texans ownership.
According to Aaron Wilson, the former Texans head coach got into an argument with J.J. Watt and defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver on the practice field in addition to having a verbal altercation with other staff members during his final weeks with the team:
It makes sense why the Texans pulled the trigger, you can’t have your head coach fighting with everyone in the locker room.
