Not only is the team benching Haskins, but he will the team’s third string quarterback as Alex Smith will be elevated to the team’s QB2:

Haskins was selected No. 15 by the Washington Football Team in the 2019 Draft. He started 11 games, throwing 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

The Panthers traded Allen to Washington on March 23 for a 2020 fifth-round pick.
