Steve McLendon is a very happy man to no longer be playing for the New York Jets.
Right after the New York Jets lost 24-0 to the Miami Dolphins, it was reported that the Jets were trading defensive tackle Steve McLendon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Once he found out the news, McLendon wasted no time leaving the Jets and joining the Bucs as he hooped in his car and drove to Miami from Tampa Bay:
The man was so ready to get away from the Jets that he didn’t even care to gather any of his things before heading out.
That’s what going 0-6 will do to you. Now he’s on a team that is 4-2 and a serious contender in the NFC after defeating the Green Bay Packers, 38-10.
