Joe Tessitore Calling His Son’s Fake Out vs Clemson Is The Coolest Thing You’ll See Today

Many know Joe Tessitore from his time in the booth as the lead commentator for ESPN’s Monday Night Football, but not most are not many are familiar with his son, whom plays for Boston College.

John Tessitore and the Eagles are taking on the top-ranked Clemson Tigers Saturday, and are taking advantage of Trevor Lawrence being out due to COVID early.

At the end of the second half, with his dad calling the game, John artfully executed a fake field goal that drew Clemson offsides, giving the Eagles a new set of downs.

Boston College scored on the very next play.

You can hear the ‘proud’ in Tessitore’s voice.
