Houston Texans Game-Clinching Touchdown Should Not Have Counted After Play Clock Hit 0

The Houston Texans got their second victory o the season but it didn’t come without some help from the referees.

In the 3rd quarter of the game, Deshaun Watson hooked up with Will Fuller for a 77-yard touchdown that gave Houston a 27-16 lead. The Texans ended up winning the game, 27-25.

Here’s the problem, however. The play should’ve been called because Houston snapped the roughly 3-4 seconds after the play-clock hit zero:

The Jaguars scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to cut Houston’s lead to 27-25, but they were unable to add a two-point conversion to tie the game.
