The attorney for three of the four men accusing ex-Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker of armed robbery was arrested Monday morning for extortion.
William Dean was arrested in Florida, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. He is a name partner at Ford, Dean & Rotundo and represents Julius Lamar, Tommy Hartshaw and Steven Compton – the three men who recanted statements against Baker last week:
Immediately following the arrest of the attorney, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office dropped ALL charges against Baker:
The Giants released Baker prior to the start of the season and is currently on the Commissioner’s Exempt List. Not only is Baker a free man, he can now continue his NFL career, if any team is interested.
