Jamal Adams Reveals That He Battled Depression While Being On The New York Jets

Being a member of the New York Jets organization is tough. Just ask Jamal Adams.

Adams revealed that hew as in a bad place mentally while a member of Gang Green:

Adams dealt with depression in New York. Was a bad place he had to work to get out of. Acknowledges several people along the way who helped him to get to his current place of peace. Revenge Week aside, good to see JA in a better place now.

The New York Jets drafted Adams with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft where he spent his first three seasons. But after a tumultuous 2019 campaign where he budded heads with head coach Adam Gase and general manager Joe Douglas, Adams forced his way out of New York and to Seattle, where he’s playing for a perennial contender.
