Adams revealed that hew as in a bad place mentally while a member of Gang Green:
The New York Jets drafted Adams with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft where he spent his first three seasons. But after a tumultuous 2019 campaign where he budded heads with head coach Adam Gase and general manager Joe Douglas, Adams forced his way out of New York and to Seattle, where he’s playing for a perennial contender.
