Matt Stafford Threw Easily The Greatest No-Look Pass In NFL History Last Week

NFL quarterback talent has become so advanced that looking at your WR while releasing the ball is overrated.

Quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers and Matt Stafford have made a habit out of filling up the highlight tape with no-look passes, something that wasn’t even a thing in the league a decade ago.

Last week during the Lions-Titans game, Stafford tossed a touchdown pass without looking at his target, and it’s easily one of the greatest throws in recent memory.

Matthew Stafford said he started throwing no look passes due to Calvin Johnson.

“It started the most when I played with Calvin just because defenses knew where I was trying to go with the ball. It just kind of developed from there. It’s just something that happened naturally for me.”
