Patriots And Cam Newton To Part Ways After Season

The Cam Newton era in New England is over.

After Tom Brady’s departure from New England left the Patriots without a proven quarterback headed into 2020, the team went out and signed former MVP and Super Bowl Cam Newton, who was sitting in free agency waiting for a signing.

Though it was an experiment worth trying, both sides have agreed to part ways this offseason after an overall shaky stint for Cam as a Patriot.
